*Weather Permitting* – hopefully over the next couple of weeks the weather will warm and the ground will dry out. We are taking bookings but please bear in mind there is a chance the weather may be against us – as long as it dries we should be fine – hope for good weather!

Hayloft – Training Classroom

Some great feedback on the use of the Hayloft :– “The Guatemala team of Peace Brigades International held a training and selection week at Bushey Heath Farm during October 2008, March 2009 and October 2009 (and booked for June 2010!). Bushey Heath was a great venue for the week, the training room was spacious and light and the accommodation comfortable and practical.”

Renewables Visit

We have seen an increasing interest in the renewable projects we have on the farm and now show private individuals and commercial groups around on a regular basis. If you are interested in the Wind Turbine, Ground Source Heat Pump or Rainwater Harvesting for your own property, business development or as a sustainable model then contact us for a visit. As a guide we charge £50 min. for private visits and a £100 min. for commercial visits.

Credit Munch Camping!

The ‘Good Loaf’ local organic bakery has made its final campsite deliveries this year, but will return Easter next year – hopefully. The camping Bothys are £20 per night and have been quite popular in the recent rainy weather!! Booking is necessary.

Workshop Space?

We are presently converting the last barn space at the farm. The space is 9.5m x 5.5m x 2 floors. We arn’t sure what to do with it! If you are looking for a space for a business, art space or whatever and like the idea of being based rurally at a location with several sustainable ideas in practice then call/mail with your ideas or to visit.
